THE ST. JOE'S DIFFERENCE
We educate the whole child:
St. Joseph Regional Catholic School inspires all members of our school community to use their God-given gifts and the example of St. Joseph’s great faith, hard work and care for others in order to be true disciples of God (mission statement).
Faith is central to our daily life. Students begin each day with prayer, attend regular religion classes, and practice our Virtue of the Month through their actions and interactions. We celebrate Mass twice a month and offer opportunities for Adoration and Reconciliation in our school chapel.
Our enriched curriculum includes Spanish (K–8), Physical Education, Art, and Music for all students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Students in Grades K–8 also benefit from Library/Media Arts, and Junior High students use Chromebooks as needed to support classroom learning.
We have smaller class sizes:
Our smaller class sizes allow teachers to fully engage each student. Our dedicated teachers are committed to the success of our students. Our teachers really know each child. In addition, our students are able to form long-lasting friendships. Our student-to-teacher ratios: PK 2:16, K 1:16, grades 1-5 1:20, grades 6-8 1:14 or 1:20.
We bring our students together:
We have a long-standing buddy program here at St. Joe's. We bring 8th grade students together with a 1st grade buddy. We also pair 7th grade students with a Kindergarten buddy. The buddies participate in fun activities throughout the school year. They also attend monthly Mass together. We enjoy watching these students learn and grow together!
We come together as a student body in our gymnasium for Spirit Week, the talent show, spelling bee, Christmas show, and to pray the rosary.
Students in different grades participate in activities such as Earth day, field day, and spirit week. They also go on field trips together.
We offer after school programs:
We offer a variety of after-school programs to engage students beyond the classroom. Athletic options include basketball, volleyball, track, cross-country, and Soccer Stars for younger students.
For those interested in STEM, our Robotics Team competed in the NH State Championships this year. We also offer a winter ski program and a theater program for students who enjoy the arts.
There's something for every interest at St. Joseph’s!
We have a before and after school program (SOAR):
SOAR is available for working parents Monday - Friday from as early as 7:00am and until 6:00pm in the evening.
SOAR summer program is also available.
We have a strong community:
We are so thankful for our amazing parents and volunteers who help out with school and community events, extracurricular programs, athletics, field trips, and classroom events. These events result in our families making long-lasting friendships.
Our parents and school community gather together every spring at our annual auction for an evening of fun and festivities!
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend school Masses.
We prepare our students for the future:
Our students continue to go on to the many public, private, and Catholic high schools in the area. Our students are fully prepared for high school in all academic areas. They are also prepared in terms of research and presentation skills through our annual IIM research project, Science and Spanish fairs.
"Inspired by faith and guided by wisdom, our children soar!”
