4th Grade
We have one 4th Grade classroom with a maximum class size of 20 students, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive learning environment. Our Grade 4 teacher, Mrs. Tobey, brings both experience and enthusiasm to the classroom.
In addition to her role as a dedicated educator, Mrs. Tobey also leads our annual Talent Show and theater production, giving students exciting opportunities to explore and showcase their creative talents.
Curriculum: In Grade 4, students continue to build on their foundational knowledge while developing important organization and study skills. In Math, they will expand their understanding through topics such as long division, fractions, and decimals. Social Studies focuses on exploring the regions of the United States, with a special emphasis on the Northeast, as students become familiar with each state's unique features.
Science comes to life through hands-on activities and exciting experiments that foster curiosity and discovery. In Religion, students take a meaningful look at the Ten Commandments and their relevance in daily life.
In English Language Arts (ELA), students will strengthen their cursive writing skills and explore a variety of reading genres, including poetry. Grade 4 is a year of growth, exploration, and deeper learning across all subjects.
