Music
The music program is led by Mrs. Switzer and is for all grades (Pre-K - 8th Grade). The general music program inspires students to explore, create, and enjoy music at every stage of their development. In the early grades, students build foundational skills through movement, rhythm games, and exploring simple instruments, developing a strong sense of pitch, rhythm, and musical expression. As they progress, students deepen their understanding of music through literacy and theory while exploring a variety of styles and cultures. By middle school, they refine their musicianship through advanced theory, critical listening, and singing. Across all grades, the program nurtures creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music, supporting both individual expression and collaboration in a joyful, engaging environment.
